Telehealth Physiotherapy

Offering physiotherapy through your electronic devices to receive the best quality care even when you cannot attend in person!

What is a telehealth physiotherapy consult?

A telehealth is very similar to a face to face physiotherapy consult except for the fact that you would not receive hands on treatment.

It involves a thorough assessment, with the physiotherapist collecting information about your injury and then combined with observation of your movements, a clinical diagnosis and plan of action can be provided just the same as when face to face.

You will be provided with advice about how to manage your condition, self management techniques for pain relief and a demonstration of a home exercise program with opportunity for you to perform the exercises during the consultation.

When your consult has ended, you will also receive an email that summarises your consultation and any advice and/or exercise programs provided during the consultation.

Why would a telehealth appointment suit me?

This appointment may be suited for someone who requires physiotherapy care but may need to isolate, or unable to come into the clinic due to mobility issues, or lengthy travel distances.

What other services can you offer on telehealth?

We can also provide clinical exercise sessions, with supervision on dosage, form and technique. We can provide advice on modifications and progressions on current programs to help you get the best out of your rehabilitation to manage your injury.

What will I need for telehealth consults?

You will need a stable internet connection and access to a camera and microphone on your device.

What will happen after I book a telehealth consult?

You will receive a confirmation email of the consult, that includes a link for pre-payment. Once payment has been made, an invoice and a link will be sent to you, which will be active for the date and time for the appointment.
